Data transmission DTS is a real-time data streaming service provided by JD Cloud, which supports data migration, data subscription and data synchronization services, and can easily and conveniently meet business scenarios such as data migration to the cloud, business asynchronous decoupling, data remote disaster recovery and business system data flow.

Data Migration

It can easily and conveniently realize data migration between databases, which is suitable for scenarios such as data migration to the cloud and data migration between cloud database instances.

It supports migration of databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, Percona, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and MongoDB and so on. It can easily and quickly migrate a local self-built database to JD Cloud. The source database continues to function normally during the migration process, minimizing application downtime.

##Data subscription

It can be obtained in real time through the data subscription service, and can be freely consumed according to business needs. It can be used in scenarios such as cache update strategy and business asynchronous decoupling.

It supports subscribing to the incremental data of the cloud database MySQL and self-built MySQL, and the subscription target side is a Kafka instance. The data in the channel is subscribed to by directly consuming the data using the Kafka Client.

Data Synchronization

It can realize real-time data synchronization between two databases, and can be used in application scenarios such as data remote disaster recovery and business system data flow.

Two types of services are currently offered:

• Disaster recovery sync: Data synchronization between two cloud databases MySQL is supported. Data is synchronized from the master and backup MySQL instances to the MySQL disaster recovery instance. Data is synchronized at the instance level and supports cross-region disaster recovery. Data is transmitted via the dedicated lines of JD Cloud among different regions. Users do not need to set up a dedicated line connection or open a public network connection for the database instance.
• Data sync: Supports data synchronization between cloud databases of the same VPC or databases connected via a dedicated line/intranet. Support selection of database table object. Support two synchronization methods of "full + incremental" or "incremental".
