Individual face recognition for verification

Individual Face Recognition for Verification supports users to use JD Cloud APP for face recognition to complete the real-name verification. Meanwhile, if your account is the account of JD Mall/JD Finance, and you have completed the individual real-name verification in JD Mall/JD Finance, you can also complete the one-click synchronization of verification status and verification information on JD Cloud Page.

Glossary

Face recognition for verification refers to the process that you enter your name and ID card number on the JD Cloud page and use the JD Cloud APP to complete the face recognition. After face recognition is passed, it indicates that the individual real-name verification is completed. At present, only users having ID cards are allowed to conduct face recognition for verification, while other document types are to be supported.

Verification process

1. Enter the Real-name Verification Page, and click "Verify Now" in "Personal Verification" tab.

2. If the system detects that your account has completed personal real-name verification in JD Cloud/JD Finance, the following popup will automatically pop up. You can click "Authorize Now" to authorize JD Cloud to obtain your real-name information in JD Mall/JD Finance.

3. If your account has not finished the individual real-name verification in JD Mall/JD Finance or you select “Not Authorized Temporarily and Manual Verification”, you will go to the page of Select Individual Real-name Method to select “Real-name Mobile Phone Verification” or “Face Recognition for Verification”.

4. After selecting Face Recognition for Verification, click Next Step. You need to enter your name and ID card number on the following page.

5. After no error is found in your name and ID card number, the following QR code will be displayed on the page.

6. You need to download JD Cloud APP and use “Scan” on the JD Cloud APP console to scan the QR code on the PC page.

7. Complete face scanning verification according to APP notification

8. After passing the face recognition for verification, i.e. completing the individual real-name verification, you can check the details of your real-name verification on the PC .

FAQ

Problem: How many JD Cloud accounts can one piece of identity information verify at most?

A: One ID card information only can verify one JD Cloud account at most.

Problem: Use JD Cloud APP for face recognition, displaying “Face Recognition for Verification Fails”.

A: The ID card number your write on the page must be the same as the person conducting the face recognition.
