A tag is the tool for JD Cloud & AI users to manage their own resource instances. You can classify resources by associating tags to resources, so as to manage your various resources in JD Cloud & AI more effectively. Each tag consists of a "key" and a "value", for example: "Using Department: "Basic R&D Department", where "Using Department" is the "key" of this tag, and "Basic R&D Department" is the value of this "key". Each resource is allowed to be associated with 10 tags with different keys. A tag must be the tag of a certain resource and cannot exist independently of the resource. When the last resource instance associated to a certain tag is deleted, the tag will also be deleted.
Currently, the console or SDK can be used to associate and disassociate resources.
Users can use the tag service function to carry out multi-dimensional classification and management of resources across regions and product types according to their own needs, for example, marking resources according to the dimensions of resource owner, department and purpose, so as to carry out statistics and batch management on these resources in different dimensions.
