Detach cloud disk
Precondition
- Unmount the system disk, the instance must be in the Stopped state;
- Unload the data disk, the instance must be in Running or Stopped state.
Operational Impact
- After the disk is successfully unmounted, the status of the Cloud Disk Service mounted in the Tab page will change to Unmounting, it will take some time to unmount the cloud disk, please wait patiently and refresh the page, after the successful unmounting, the mounting status will change to "Unmounted", this status will be kept for 15 minutes, the Cloud Disk Service in this status will not occupy the instance mounted disk The Cloud Disk Service in this state does not occupy the number of mounted disks of the instance, and does not affect any operation and use of the mounted disk by the mounted instance.
Operation Steps
- Access Virtual Machines Console to log in the instance list page. Or, access JD Cloud Console and log in the instance list page by clicking Elastic Compute-Virtual Machine on the top navigation bar.
- After selecting the locale, select the instance you need to offload the Cloud Disk Service in the instance list and click the ID/name to enter the detail page.
- Click Disk Tab, find the Cloud Disk Service you need to unmount, and click the Unmount button.
- Click OK in the popped-up secondary confirmation popup.
