The life cycle of an instance refers to the time period from its creation (purchase) to its final release (automatic deletion after the expiration of the instance subject to yearly/monthly package pay-in-advance billing, automatic deletion of the instance billed by configuration after it is in arrears and is shut down, or active deletion by the user of the instance billed by configuration). The following table shows the possible Statuses of an instance during its life cycle.
Status | status Attribute | Description |
---|---|---|
Pending | Intermediate Status | after the instance creation task is submitted, it enters the status before Running. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that the instance creation is abnormal. |
Running | Stable Status | the normal running status of the instance. You can run business normally on the instance in this status, and perform corresponding operations on the instance at the same time. |
Stopped | Stable Status | The status after the instance is normally stopped. the instance in this status stops providing external services. |
Deleting | Middle State | The state between submission of instance deletion by the console to successful deletion for the instance of pay by configuration, in error state or of monthly package. |
Starting | Intermediate status | it refers to the status of the instance in the Stopped status after the Start operation and before entering the Running status. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that an exception occurs. |
Stopping | Intermediate status | it refers to the status of the instance in the Running status after the Stopped operation and before entering theStopped status. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that an exception occurs. |
Rebooting | Intermediate Status | it refers to the status of the instance in the Running status after the Reboot operation and before entering theRunning status. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that an exception occurs. |
Resizing | intermediate status | it refers to the status of the instance in the Stopped status after the Upgrade Configuration operation and before reentering theStopped status. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that an exception occurs. |
Rebuilding | Intermediate status | it refers to the status of the instance in the Stopped status after the Rebuild operation and before reentering theStopped status. if it is in this status for a long time, it means that an exception occurs. |
