Restart instance:

In case of an unrecoverable failure or other necessary scenarios of your instance, you can reboot the instance.

Prerequisites and restrictions

The instance must be in the Running status. If the instance is in the Stopped status, you only need to Start Instance; if the instance is in other unstable Statuses, please wait for the previous operation to be completed before rebooting the instance.

Note:
1. The reboot operation will cause interruption to your business, so please operate with caution;
2. After triggering the restart operation, the instance will enter the "restarting" state, and the instance will not be able to perform other operations. When the reboot is complete, the instance will be in the “Running” state.

Operational Impact

Restarting the instance operation will cause your instance to stop working and cause business interruption, so please perform it carefully.

Operation Steps

1. Access Virtual Machines Console to log in the instance list page.
2. Select regions.
3. Select the instance that needs to be restarted in the instance list and make sure its status is "Running". If you need to operate multiple instances at the same time, you can implement multiple selections.
4. Single-set operation: Click on the Options-More-Restart button, or click on the instance name to enter the detail page and then click on the Options-More-Restart button;
   
   Batch Operation: Click the More-Restart button at the bottom of the list
5. In the Restart the Ingstance pop-up window that appears, confirm the information and click OK to submit the reboot.

After that the instance will enter the Restarting state and the instance will not be able to perform other operations. When the reboot is complete, the instance will enter the Running state.
