Windows Firewall Allows/ Forbids Port Access
Note: The Windows configuration and instructions in this article have been tested on the Windows 2012 64-bit operating system. For other types and versions of the operating system, configuration may vary. Please refer to the official documentation for the details about relevant operating systems.
- Click Start in the lower left corner to open the Control Panel.
Select Windows Firewall, Advanced Settings.
Select Inbound Rules in the left column and select New Rule in the right column.
Select Port, Specific Local Port, and fill in the port number that you want to allow/ forbid.
Select the policy of allowing or forbidding connection, and click Next by default.
Fill in the name for this rule and the configuration is complete.
